My design wall today holds lots of blocks from Susan Briscoe's book: Japanese Taupe Quilts.
I'm still not doing the taupe thing with them, though.
I had hoped to finish these blocks for this post, but life intervened and this is as far as I got.

Life always gets into the way, it seems. Just come back to the blocks when you can, we'll be here.
Very interesting blocks. I look forward to seeing what you do with them.
Much better that life gets in the way.... otherwise you would be uninspired and less pushed to get something done when you do get a moment.
Those blocks are really nice next to each other like that. Go take care of life, quilting is just a hobby, you know.
