It's Monday Again!

The blue/green quilt blocks are up on my design wall today.  I have finished all of them and now I'm trying to figure out the best way to set them.  I think I'm going to have to piece some borders to tie this all together.

To see other design walls this Monday, check out Judy's blog here.
And yesterday, the stupid fake-fruit tree looked pretty again with water dripping from its fake fruit.

I love the colours, and the individual blocks in this quilt you are doing. I can't wait to see how you put it all together.

one of the best rules I follow is to make visual descisions visually! Put up some sample fabric - sample borders - take digitals of all the different choices and then look at them on the computer - you'll be amazed at how easy it is to chose!

Great quilt... it's going to look beautiful!!! Maybe some thin solid looking ... borders... sort of like frames...

and could those be crabapples (from the fruitless variety)?

That is going to be a beautiful quilt. I love both the colors and the variety of blocks.

This is going to finish as a huge quilt, well I'm guessing since there isn't something familiar to give me a guage. Using the white background for setting triangles will accenuate all the wonderful work you have already accomplished. Use a bold thread and fancy quilting stitches to pull the setting triangles into the blocks. Swap one of the top corner blocks for one of the bottom corners and definitely keep in the one of its kind twinkle block in the top right! Love what you are doing.
