Mag 35 (untitled)

Amber, garnet, tourmaline,
Autumn's jewels waft gently down
softly blanketing soon spent earth.

Falling from wanton hope and heat
to riches -- swift decay 'neath
crystalline glaze and threadbare snow.

The beautiful colors of fall! I love the sound of "soon spent earth" and "threadbare snow." (Only a fiber artist would think of that last one - gorgeous!)

I'd love some rings with those 'leaves' in them! A delightful piece. Crystalline glaze. Nice image!

Just lovely -- and I, too, am not ready for fall in the upper midwest. Thanks for reminding me to see the beauty.
