Dancing Stars

Today's design wall is full of dancing stars.

They're eight inch blocks that will be a baby quilt ---soon, I hope.

And those stars in exile on the upper right? They're over there because I cut them wrong and they're out of step.  Marching to the wrong tune.

I really like this quilt, especially the dark background on the blocks. Is there a pattern?

Very nice -- I like the opposing slanted settings. Perhaps your exile blocks can become matching pillows! :)

It took me a while but I finally saw it! They look very bright and happy together!

Very pretty! I hope those poor little exiled blocks will find a good home somewhere. They look lonely :)

What neat wonky blocks! Maybe you could use those blocks in the corners.

Great blocks! It took me a minute to figure out why those 2 blocks were exiled!! LOL

I have never made an eskew quilt before but I really like how your blocks "dance." And I love baby quilts that are not "traditional."

Terrific baby quilt. And, love, love, love the bright colors. Ditto every one regarding why you exiled the two quilts. But finally the light bulb went on!

I love this quilt. I like to save up the exiled blocks and put them in a free for all quilt when they stack up. great job!

Busy girl! Is it nervous energy? Looks GREAT!!!

I bet you could use your "exiled" blocks and none of us would be the wiser.

That will be a beautiful baby quilt! I see it's already been mentioned, but my first thought on using your odd blocks was matching pillows. lol They're too pretty not to use somehow!

Don't you just love the look of the twist and turn technique? You can use your other dancers on the back (wink)! Sandi
